Jacob Arrieta
Mental Health Counseling Student | Specializing in Anxiety, Addiction, Trauma, Spirituality, and Life Coaching
Jacob Arrieta is a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Counseling student currently completing his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. With a foundational background in business management (BS from the University of South Florida) and a Master’s in Apologetics from Liberty University, Jacob brings a unique perspective to his counseling approach, blending psychological insights with a strong ethical and philosophical framework.
Although Jacob is still in the process of completing his counseling degree, he is already specializing in a variety of areas, including anxiety, addiction (including sex and pornography addiction), trauma, behavioral problems, depression, men’s issues, and relationship challenges. He takes a client-centered, holistic approach to therapy, tailoring his methods to suit the individual needs of each client. His work integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and biblical-based counseling, creating a diverse and adaptable therapeutic toolkit.
Jacob is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate complex life challenges and supporting those in need of life coaching, addiction recovery, and personal transformation. His empathetic and relational approach ensures that each person feels heard, valued, and empowered on their path to healing. By incorporating biblical principles alongside modern therapeutic techniques, Jacob fosters a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their struggles and find strength in their faith while working toward emotional and mental wellness.
Jacob’s motivation for pursuing a career in counseling stems from his deep desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. He believes that mental health is an essential part of overall well-being and that every individual has the capacity for growth and transformation mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. By establishing a trusting, collaborative relationship with his clients, he creates a safe space for them to explore their emotions, gain insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
