Areas of Expertise
Kristina Hoffman is a dedicated and compassionate professional committed to helping individuals achieve meaningful personal growth and lasting emotional well-being. With a strong foundation in leadership and counseling, Kristina brings a thoughtful, solution-focused approach to her work, meeting clients where they are and guiding them toward clarity, resilience, and positive change. She prioritizes creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment in which clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore life’s challenges.
Kristina’s background in supervising teams and managing complex, high-pressure situations has enhanced her ability to support clients through life transitions, stress management, relationship challenges, and goal setting. She draws on these experiences to help individuals develop practical coping strategies, strengthen emotional awareness, and build confidence in their ability to navigate difficult circumstances. Kristina firmly believes in empowering clients to recognize their inherent strengths and take intentional, meaningful steps toward the lives they desire.
In addition to counseling, Kristina has spent many hours leading group sessions focused on marital intimacy and connection, providing couples with tools to foster communication, trust, and emotional closeness. As a military spouse, she brings personal insight into the unique challenges of military life, including frequent transitions, prolonged separations, and the emotional demands placed on individuals and families. Her own experience with birth trauma further informs her work, offering a depth of empathy and lived understanding that allows clients space to heal, process, and grow in those sensitive areas.
Outside of her counseling practice, Kristina values continuous learning and professional development, ensuring her methods are informed by the latest research and best practices in mental health care. She loves spending time with her grown children, traveling with her husband.
